Israeli occupation forces continued on Thursday shelling towns and areas in southern Lebanon, in conjunction with carrying out detonations targeting homes and infrastructure, according to the Lebanese National News Agency. The agency reported that artillery shelling targeted the Hujair and Salouqi valleys and the outskirts of Zawtar Al-Sharqiyya toward Mayfadoun, while occupation forces launched an airstrike on the area situated between the towns of Zibqin and Shihin. In the town of Al-Mansouri, south of Tyre, occupation forces carried out more than 10 violent detonations targeting homes and infrastructure, coinciding with artillery shelling. The agency noted that the detonations caused powerful tremors felt by residents of the city of Tyre and surrounding villages. It added that the occupation has recently resorted to new methods for demolishing homes and residential neighborhoods without reaching them, using Israeli drones to barrels containing high explosives from the air onto rooftops before detonating them. The agency also reported a massive detonation in the town of Bani Hayyan, along with an airstrike and a detonation in Al-Mansouri. Source: Rum News Agency
