Voices of Heritage.' Holding this musical performance at Machaerus carries special significance due to the site's religious and historical importance. Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Imad Hijazeen previously emphasized in a statement that the Kingdom possesses some of the world's most significant Christian pilgrimage and religious heritage sites. Executive Director of the Friends of Jordan Festivals Association, Souha Bawab, stated to 'Al-Mamlaka' on Saturday that Machaerus holds profound civilizational symbolism and religious heritage. She added that the event hosted at the Machaerus archaeological and historical site today aims to link music with Jordanian archaeological sites and enhance their presence on the global tourism map. She explained that the significance of the event extends beyond delivering a musical concert, serving to connect the musical work directly to the religious and historical narrative of the Machaerus site. She noted that the event features a fusion of Arabic and Western music within the framework of a dialogue between cultures and civilizations. Source: Rum News Agency
