The Independent Election Commission announced the issuance of a Court of Cassation ruling dissolving the Jordanian Al-Ghad Party, in a lawsuit filed by the Board of Commissioners of the Independent Election Commission, based on violations consisting of failure to submit its final financial statements. In compliance with the court decision issued by the highest judicial authority, the ruling has become final and binding upon entry into force. It is worth noting that following the dissolution of the Jordanian Al-Ghad Party, the number of existing political parties stands at 30.
