In a new achievement added to the record of Al-Ahliyya Amman University graduates, Rahaf Al-Shayyab, a graduate of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, participated as part of the Jordanian delegation at the Regional Conference of Youth (RCOY). She was selected from an elite group of candidates in a representation that reflects her academic competence and active interest in environmental and developmental issues. Al-Shayyab's selection to the Jordanian delegation followed an evaluation and screening process based on criteria linked to academic excellence, volunteer work, and engagement in environmental, agricultural, and developmental matters. This allowed her to represent Jordanian youth on a regional platform gathering stakeholders in climate, sustainability, and development. Her participation included attending specialized sessions and workshops, contributing to discussions on the role of youth in promoting agricultural sustainability, food security, and adapting to climate change impacts, as well as exchanging expertise with participants from various countries to explore cooperation and partnership opportunities in relevant fields. This achievement comes as part of Al-Ahliyya Amman University's commitment to supporting its students and alumni, empowering them to participate in regional and international forums, and strengthening their presence in sustainability and climate issues, thereby aligning academic learning outcomes with local and regional development needs.
