The Board of the Jordanian Construction Contractors Association, chaired by Syndicate President Fouad Al-Dweiri, held a meeting at the syndicate’s headquarters on October 6, 2026, with several water and sanitation contractors from Ain Al-Basha District in Balqa Governorate. The board listened to their observations and demands regarding local infrastructure and decided to form a committee of specialists and engineers within the syndicate to follow up on these matters and explore available solutions. The meeting addressed a range of obstacles and challenges facing contractors, most notably issues relating to coordination with the Miyahuna Water Company. The newly formed committee will handle these issues and follow up on the demands in accordance with established principles and agreements. Al-Dweiri stressed that the syndicate remains committed to ongoing communication with contractors, listening directly to their concerns, studying the challenges confronting them, and working to transform those challenges into opportunities in coordination with relevant stakeholders. In this context, Al-Dweiri indicated that the syndicate is studying plans to establish a syndicate facility in Balqa Governorate to serve local contractors, easing transaction processing and bringing syndicate services within closer reach.
