Under the patronage of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Middle East University, Dr. Yacoub Naser Al-Din, and in the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Salam Al-Mahadin, a ceremony was held to honor a number of faculty and administrative staff members in appreciation of their contributions to achieving prestigious global accreditations. These include the American AACSB accreditation for the Faculty of Business—held by only about 6% of institutions worldwide—alongside the German FIBAA accreditation for the Faculty of Engineering and Design, which stands as a prominent international accreditation and a reliable indicator enhancing the competitiveness of university graduates in local, regional, and international labor markets. In this regard, Naser Al-Din noted that international accreditations carry academic, economic, and national dimensions due to their connection to the ability of Jordanian universities to attract students from abroad, enhance graduate employment opportunities, solidify Jordan's image as a destination for prestigious university education, and build students' capabilities to become global citizens. For her part, the President of the University, Prof. Salam Al-Mahadin, stated that the international accreditations achieved by the university represent the fruit of diligent institutional work, reflecting the integration of academic and administrative efforts and a commitment to developing programs and specializations in accordance with global benchmarks. She pointed out that the core of these achievements lies in elevating the student experience and preparing them to compete in labor markets both locally and internationally.
