AMMAN — Middle East University (MEU) celebrated a significant institutional milestone following its attainment of two premier international accreditations: the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) accreditation for its Business School, joining an elite group held by only six percent of business institutions worldwide, and the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA) for its Faculty of Engineering and Design. A formal ceremony was held under the patronage of the Chairman of MEU’s Board of Trustees, Dr. Yacoub Naser Al-Din, and in the presence of University President Prof. Salam Al-Mahadin, to honor faculty and administrative staff members whose dedicated contributions propelled the institution toward these global benchmarks. Dr. Naser Al-Din emphasized that international accreditations carry profound academic, economic, and national implications, directly strengthening Jordanian universities' capacity to attract international students, enhance graduate employability, and solidify Jordan's standing as a leading regional hub for prestigious higher education. Prof. Al-Mahadin noted that securing the credentials reflects tireless institutional teamwork and an unwavering commitment to aligning academic programs and specialized curricula with rigorous international standards, with the ultimate objective of enriching the student experience and ensuring robust competitiveness across local, regional, and global labor markets.
