Arab Bank has continued its support for Dar Abu Abdullah’s programs, reaffirming its commitment to national efforts aimed at enhancing food security and economic empowerment. This initiative comes as part of the bank’s ongoing efforts to develop community-based initiatives and a tangible impact in supporting the economic and social development of targeted groups through sustainable productive projects. Within the framework of this cooperation, a volunteer activity was carried out at 'Mazra'at Al-Dar' (Al-Dar Farm) located at Mu'tah University in Karak Governorate, in collaboration with Tkiyet Um Ali. A team of volunteers from Arab Bank participated in harvesting the tomato crop for the current agricultural season, directly supporting 21 beneficiaries among women and youth. Arab Bank’s support for Dar Abu Abdullah Association falls under the strategic partnership between the bank and Tkiyet Um Ali, now entering its 19th consecutive year. This collaboration encompasses several key pillars: Supporting efforts to combat hunger and food poverty by renewing sponsorship for more than 100 beneficiary families through Tkiyet Um Ali with sustainable monthly food parcels. Supporting the agricultural cycle at 'Mazra'at Al-Dar' at Mu'tah University, which houses 21 greenhouses, thereby strengthening economic empowerment opportunities for women and youth in Karak. It is worth noting that Arab Bank adopts a comprehensive sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy that reflects its dedication to maximizing its economic, social, and environmental impact by working with various stakeholders to achieve sustainable development. The bank’s CSR program, 'Together,' stands as a core element of this approach, focusing on several primary areas: health, education, poverty alleviation, environmental protection, orphan support, and women’s empowerment.
