Her Excellency MP Dr. Rania Abu Rumman participated in the graduation ceremony of the third cohort of students from the Heart of Life Academy for Consulting and Training, held at the University of Jordan under the patronage and presence of Her Royal Highness Princess Alya Bint Tawfiq Al-Tabbaa, with the participation of several official and academic figures.
During her speech at the ceremony, Abu Rumman emphasized that real investment in Jordan's future begins with investing in its youth, stating that nations are built not on wishes, but through the knowledge, willpower, and work of their citizens.
She highlighted the ambitious youth vision of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and his continuous dedication to empowering Jordanian youth, unleashing their potential, and providing them with opportunities, noting that the Crown Prince serves as a role model for Jordanian youth in ambition, work, and achievement.
Abu Rumman stressed the importance of moving toward vocational and technical education and training while aligning training outcomes with labor market needs, stating:
'Today, we are not looking for academies that settle for teaching, vocational training, and issuing certificates. Rather, we are looking for academies that believe in the future of their graduates, strive to provide them with real job opportunities, and follow their steps until they enter the labor market and become productive individuals capable of building their futures.'
She added that this approach aligns with the directives and vision of Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II in empowering youth, qualifying them for the job market, and promoting vocational and technical education and training as a vital path for building the national economy and reducing unemployment.
Abu Rumman affirmed:
'As MPs, we extend a helping hand and support to every academy and national institution that adopts this approach and transitions youth from training seats to the fields of work and production. Our responsibility does not stop at encouraging youth, but extends to supporting initiatives that open doors of livelihood for them and a better future.'
Addressing the graduates, Abu Rumman stated that graduation is not the end of the road, but the beginning of a new phase of ambition and hard work, emphasizing that true success begins with belief in one's capabilities and determination to achieve goals. She urged them to never stop learning, developing their skills, and keeping pace with market demands.
She commended the role played by the Heart of Life Academy for Consulting and Training in qualifying youth and developing their skills, particularly its efforts to secure real job opportunities for its graduates. She noted that the success of training institutions is measured not only by the number of certificates issued, but by the number of youth they help launch toward a promising professional future.
She also expressed her gratitude and appreciation to HRH Princess Alya Bint Tawfiq Al-Tabbaa for her sponsorship of the event, as well as to Eng. Tariq Aziz, Director General of the Heart of Life Academy for Consulting and Training, the organizers at the Heart of Life Foundation, and the University of Jordan for hosting the ceremony.
Abu Rumman concluded her address with a message to the academy, saying:
'Remain true to the meaning your name holds—a heart beating with life, hope, and giving—and continue creating opportunities. Every young person who finds their path to work represents a new success for our nation. Congratulations to the graduates. Jordan deserves that we believe in its youth, turn their dreams into opportunities, their ambitions into achievements, and their training into work and production.'
