AMMAN As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting female entrepreneurs and enhancing their capabilities and skills in business leadership, the Zain Innovation Campus (ZINC) hosted the 'From Idea to Enterprise' training camp in collaboration with the Arab Women Today organization. Held at ZINC's main branch in the King Hussein Business Park, the four-day camp was led by entrepreneurship expert and consultant Nidal Qandيلو, with the participation of 26 women. The program aimed to develop participants' entrepreneurial competencies, empowering them to launch, scale, and sustain their business ventures. The curriculum focused on equipping participants with the practical tools and knowledge required to transition from concept to enterprise. This included identifying market needs, designing products and services to solve specific problems, navigating market entry, pricing, distribution, marketing, and sales, as well as mastering financial management, funding strategies, and pitching to investors. The cohort brought together women at various stages of their entrepreneurial journeys: aspiring founders, those in the process of establishing businesses, and owners of existing ventures seeking to scale and overcome operational hurdles. Project ideas spanned diverse sectors, including handicrafts, fashion, cosmetics, food and beverages, educational services, consulting, and marketing. A key emphasis was placed on sharpening skills in marketing, financial management, planning, and market research to boost enterprise readiness and long-term sustainability. Furthermore, the training underscored the importance of informed decision-making across all project phases and maintaining agility in dynamic business environments—particularly amidst rapid industry transformations and the growing role of artificial intelligence in product development. The camp utilized real-world regional case studies, enabling participants to analyze challenges, formulate strategic choices, and apply acquired concepts directly to their own business ideas. ZINC's organization of this camp aligns with its mission to foster a supportive environment for learning, knowledge exchange, and entrepreneurial skill development, providing platforms for programs that empower women and enhance their participation in economic and socio-economic development. The 'Arab Women Today' organization is dedicated to raising awareness and empowering women to become active, influential leaders in society by delivering tailored training and advisory services across cultural, economic, and social domains. Rooted in community needs, the organization fosters personal and leadership capacities to drive positive change within families and communities in a transparent, safe, and respectful environment.
