The Irbid District Electricity Company (IDECO) organized a solidarity stand today, Sunday, outside its headquarters to condemn the terrorist attack that targeted a Greek Orthodox church in the town of Humud, Karak Governorate. Led by Director General Eng. Bashar Al-Tamimi alongside company employees, participants expressed deep solidarity with the families of the martyrs, the injured, and the residents of Karak. They reaffirmed their absolute rejection of all forms of terrorism and extremism, emphasizing the unity and cohesion of the Jordanian people in confronting attempts to destabilize national security. Al-Tamimi stated that the gathering reflects a unified national stance, noting that 'the pain of Karak is the pain of Irbid, and the tragedy of its people is shared by us all.' He stressed that Jordanians stand shoulder-to-shoulder against terrorism, guided by deep-rooted values of brotherhood, solidarity, and peaceful coexistence. He added that targeting houses of worship will fail to undermine Jordan's national fabric, highlighting that Muslim and Christian citizens form a single, unbreakable community bound by a shared history and destiny under the Hashemite banner. Concurrently, branch offices of the company across the Jerash, Ajloun, and Mafraq governorates held parallel solidarity stands with staff expressing their condemnation of the attack and solidarity with the families of the victims.
