Head of the Digital Supply Chains Department at the Faculty of Business at Middle East University, Dr. Al-Hareth Abu Hussein, participated in the activities of the 8th International Staff Week hosted by the University of Piraeus in Greece, in a step that enhances the university's openness to cross-border academic partnerships and expands opportunities for knowledge and research integration with international university institutions. Participation in the Erasmus+ international academic exchange program (Erasmus+ KA171) enabled the building of communication channels with representatives of European and international universities, as well as exploring opportunities to develop joint academic and research projects. These encompass faculty and administrative staff exchanges, joint scientific research production and publication in peer-reviewed journals, and the organization of specialized workshops and lectures, thereby bolstering the exchange of expertise and integration of academic competencies. The proposed areas of cooperation focused on business administration, digital supply chains, logistics, sustainability, digital transformation, and artificial intelligence applications in management, keeping pace with rapid shifts in business environments and opening horizons for developing applied knowledge and scientific research in disciplines linked to the economy of the future.
