US President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he has reached an agreement with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu providing for Washington to cease financial aid to Israel after the end of the current year. Trump explained in an interview with the 'Fox & Friends' program on Fox News that Israel no longer needs this aid, adding that some Democrats and left-wing politicians use American funding for Israel as a pretext to criticize Republicans. Trump said: 'Regarding paying money to Israel, Bibi Netanyahu and I agreed that we would provide $4 billion annually to Israel, and months ago we agreed to stop that.' He added: 'We have already agreed that we will not pay money to Israel by the end of this year. Now we will help Israel if it needs help.' Trump stated that his administration's achievements cannot be allowed to be undermined due to what he described as the exploitation of Israel by candidates such as Abdul El-Sayed in the state of Michigan. Trump added that the current midterm elections are the most important, saying that his administration has already succeeded in 'making America great again.' Rum
