The Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Makram Al-Qaisi, discussed, during a phone call, with the Greek Minister of Tourism, Olga Kefalogiani, the bilateral relations between the two countries in the field of tourism and ways to develop them. The two sides discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the two countries in tourism, exchanging experiences in the areas of training, and air links between Jordan and Greece. The two parties pointed out the importance of benefiting from and exchanging experiences between the two countries in the field of preserving, developing and rehabilitating archaeological sites, and joint marketing and promotion of tourist and archaeological sites. The two parties stressed the need to work to enhance intra-tourism between the two countries, and to increase the number of Greek tourist groups to Jordan. The two sides agreed to arrange a meeting in the near future to implement these understandings on the ground.
