Under the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Jordanian Hashemite Charitable Organization prepared and sent an emergency relief aid plane with a load of approximately 11 tons for the affected people in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, after the floods that led to great losses and damages in 34 states.
According to a statement issued by the authority, today, Wednesday, coordination with the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army / Air Force, to equip the plane and load it with relief and food materials, has also been arranged with the Nigerian authorities for the purpose of receiving these materials by the competent authorities to be distributed to the beneficiaries there.
The Secretary-General of the authority, Dr. Hussein Al-Shibli, said that the authority, in implementation of the royal directives to provide aid to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, after the floods that afflicted the country, which resulted in damage and loss of lives, infrastructure and agricultural lands, has worked on preparing food and housing relief materials, and in coordination with the armed forces Jordan for the purposes of delivering the materials and delivering them to the concerned authorities there.
