Ministry of energy and mineral resources: AMMAN, January 9 - Petrol prices rose, while the prices of diesel and kene in global markets fell in the first week of January, compared to their rates last December.
According to data from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, announced on Tuesday, 90-octane gasoline in the first week of January recorded a price of $742.8 per ton, compared to $740.9 last month, an increase of 0.3 percent.
Octane gasoline recorded 95 prices of $779.9 per ton, compared to $779.5 recorded last month, up 0.04 percent.The price of diesel fell from $710.2 to $706 per ton, a decrease of 0.6 percent, and the price of kerosene fell from 780.6 to $765.4 per ton, a decrease of 1.9 percent. The price of fuel oil also rose from 431.3 to $447.5 per ton, up 3.8 percent. The price of liquified petroleum gas rose from $617.5 per ton last December to $627.5 per ton in January by 1.6 percent.On the other hand, the price of Brent crude fell in the first week of January to $76.9 a barrel, compared to $77.9 last month, down 1.2 percent.
