Deputy Secretary-General of the Football Association, Falih Al-Daja, said on Friday that the Federation did not obtain its share of tickets for the final match of the Asian Cup, which brought together the national team with its Qatari counterpart on Saturday at the Lusail World Cup Stadium.
Al-Daja said, “Until now, the Football Association has not obtained its share of the tickets for the Asian Cup final,” expressing the Federation’s surprise at “the failure to respond to our demands 3 days ago to obtain the Federation’s share of the tickets,” according to the Kingdom.
Al-Daja expressed his hope that 'there will be a solution soon that will guarantee the presence of the Jordanian fans in the final and in good places,' and confirmed that there is an effort to solve this problem.
A meeting is being held between the Football Association, the Continental Championship Organizing Committee, and the Asian Football Confederation to discuss this issue.
Lusail Stadium, which hosted the 2022 World Cup final, can accommodate about 90,000 spectators.
