Arab Bank employees recently participated in a career guidance event that was organized at Amna Bint Wahab Mixed Secondary School in Kasbah Salt, as part of the “My Space” student club program organized by the “My School” initiative with support from the Arab Bank. This event, which is considered a window for young people into the labor market, aims to expand the horizons of female students’ knowledge about the future specializations that are most common and in demand in the labor market, such as cybersecurity, e-marketing, data science and analysis, and human resources management, in addition to animation and design using animation technology.
The career guidance event comes as a continuation of Arab Bank’s support for the “Madrasati” initiative programs since 2010, which was launched by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah in 2008 with the aim of improving the environment of public schools in the Kingdom and enhancing the life skills of students through the application of various educational programmes.
The event included several interactive sessions with 135 female students, including many discussion panels, as well as practical activities and training events that would help in the process of directing and refining their skills and deepening their practical concepts, which would contribute to increasing awareness among female students about the importance of the role that university specialization plays in their professional career.
It is worth noting that the Arab Bank previously supported the “Madrasati” initiative by adopting two schools to carry out renovations and modernization of the infrastructure. With the aim of providing a better educational environment, the bank’s support included the “My Space” program within the “My School” initiative, which aims to an interactive creative space for students and teachers through extracurricular activities, in addition to supporting the “I am proud to be a teacher” program, which aims to provide personal and practical training for teachers and stimulate their feelings. With pride and competence.
