Thousands of Palestinian people performed the prayer on the third Friday of the month of Ramadan, in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the strict and unprecedented occupation measures imposed on the city of Jerusalem.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem reported that 125,000 Palestinians performed the third Friday prayer of Ramadan in Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, Youssef Abu Sneina, said that our Palestinian people traveled to Al-Aqsa Mosque today to confirm their Islam and reject their Judaization.
The occupation forces continued to impose severe restrictions and restrictions on citizens’ access to the occupied city of Jerusalem. They strengthened their presence at the military checkpoints leading to the Holy City, checked citizens’ identities, and prevented hundreds of them from reaching it to perform Friday prayers, under the pretext of not obtaining the necessary permits.
Hundreds of citizens prayed in the streets, near the occupation checkpoints, after they were prevented from entering to pray at Al-Aqsa, most of them elderly people.
