During his meeting on Sunday with his Palestinian counterpart, Muhammad Mustafa, Prime Minister Bisher Al-Khasawneh affirmed Jordan's continued efforts, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, to support Palestinian rights and immediately stop the brutal Israeli aggression against Gaza.
He also stressed the necessity of moving to a political horizon that guarantees the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, with full and effective sovereignty, along the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
Al-Khasawneh and Mustafa chaired an expanded meeting that included ministers from both countries. To discuss strengthening bilateral relations in various fields, and they agreed to hold a meeting of the Jordanian-Palestinian Joint Higher Committee soon.
