The Israeli airport authorities announced, on Sunday, the reopening of Israeli airspace as of 04:30 GMT (07:30 Amman time), after Israel announced that it had thwarted the Iranian attack.
An Israeli occupation army spokesman, Daniel Hagari, said on Sunday that Iran fired more than 300 shells at Israel, and 99% of the shells were shot down.
He pointed out that a number of missiles were launched from Iraq and none of them reached Israel, and dozens of missiles were launched from Lebanon.
He explained that Iran's moves are considered 'extremely dangerous,' adding that they are 'pushing the region toward escalation.'
Hagari announced that Iran fired dozens of surface-to-surface missiles towards Israel, most of which were intercepted by Israel outside the Israeli borders, saying that Iran's movements are considered extremely dangerous, adding that they are 'pushing the region towards escalation.'
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that Israel would achieve victory after confronting a barrage of Iranian missiles and drones, as he wrote in a brief post on the X website, “We intercepted and confronted, together we will prevail.”
