The Directorate of Operations and Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced today that, in joint efforts with the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army, nine Jordanian doctors and nurses were successfully evacuated from Gaza to the Kingdom.
According to Ambassador Dr. Sufyan Al-Qudah, the official spokesperson for the ministry, these medical professionals had been working at the European Hospital in Gaza as part of a medical campaign organized under the auspices of the Palestinian American Medical Association (PAMA) and the Jordanian American Physicians Association (JAPA).
Additionally, assistance was provided for the evacuation of two Egyptian doctors, an Omani doctor, a Sudanese doctor, as well as two doctors of American nationality and an Australian doctor.
Ambassador Al-Qudah emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, in cooperation with the Jordanian Armed Forces, continues evacuation operations for Jordanian citizens residing in Gaza. The goal is to provide all necessary assistance, ensuring their safety and well-being, and facilitating their return to the Kingdom as swiftly as possible.
