Jordanian artist Violetta Al-Yousef will participate in the 38th edition of the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts this year. She brings with her a creative spirit that has accompanied her since childhood as a talented artist. Violetta, who has excelled in singing 15 international songs and performed for Jordan and Palestine, is successful in her musical and academic project. Born in 1992, Violetta studied music for seven years in Moscow, specializing in piano, guitar, and singing. She earned ABRSM certificates and graduated in directing, acting, and singing from the renowned GITIS University in 2013. She completed her master's degree in musical arts with a specialization in composition from the University of Jordan in 2019, graduating with distinction.
Violetta's passion for singing and playing instruments began at the age of five and was nurtured by her family. Despite scoring 95% in her scientific high school studies, she chose to pursue her artistic ambitions, eventually mastering 15 international languages and currently working as a music teacher.
She received a grant for her project 'Yalla Nehlam' under the Talented in Service of the Community initiative's fifth round. Additionally, she won first prize in symphonic poem composition for 'Al-Karama,' organized by the Armed Forces Radio in collaboration with the King Abdullah II Fund for Development in 2018.
Violetta has represented Jordan in various international and local festivals, including the ENTIN Music Festival in Russia in 2009, where she won a composition award. She also participated in Jordanian Cultural Days in Ukraine in 2011, the Jerash Festival in 2013, and the National Song Festival by the Ministry of Culture in 2013.
She performed at the Abdali Boulevard celebrations in 2015 and 2016 and represented Jordan in a POP Music Workshop in China, performing a song with the Chinese Orchestra in 2018. Violetta also sang and played at the opening of the Al-Dustour Cultural Salon in 2018 and participated in the Design Market in 2018 and 2019, organized by Zain.
She has performed at the World Economic Forum's opening in 2017, numerous diplomatic events at Arab and foreign embassies in Jordan, and has been featured in several television and radio interviews.

She aims to use her talents to promote peace and stability globally, helping communities embrace diversity through meaningful art.
