Amman - With the support of Bank of Cairo Amman, the King Hussein Cancer Foundation inaugurated the activities of the 18th annual summer camp for children receiving treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center. The event was marked by a festive carnival atmosphere filled with love and joy.
The opening was attended by Dr. Khaled Al-Qassem, Executive Vice President of Bank of Cairo Amman, and Mrs. Nisreen Qatamesh, Director General of the King Hussein Cancer Foundation.
Mrs. Qatamesh expressed her gratitude to Bank of Cairo Amman for its continuous support and sponsorship of the annual summer camp for over thirteen years. She emphasized that the summer camp is part of a comprehensive care approach for all patients at the center, focusing on both therapeutic and psychological aspects to support the patients.
The camp, which runs for a full month, hosts 150 patients daily and includes a variety of activities, games, and artistic workshops designed to develop the children's abilities and talents, enhance their physical and mental strength, and provide them with happiness and hope to continue their treatment journey.
