Orange Jordan and the Crown Prince Foundation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on a training and qualification program aimed at enhancing the digital skills of young women and men in various governorates of the Kingdom. This initiative is seen as a fundamental pillar for their economic empowerment and enabling them to play more active roles in the national growth journey.
The signing ceremony took place at the Crown Prince Foundation headquarters on Tuesday, July 16, with the agreement signed by Orange Jordan CEO Philippe Mansour and Crown Prince Foundation Executive Director Dr. Tamam Mango.
Under the agreement, Orange Jordan will enhance key digital skills aligned with labor market needs and global trends for young people in the Kingdom. This will be done in coordination with the Crown Prince Foundation offices in the governorates, starting with Karak, Ajloun, and Mafraq, training 60 young women and men, and extending to other governorates. This initiative aims to enable them to join the labor market by providing opportunities in the private sector upon graduation.
This agreement aligns with the vision of both parties to build a generation that is aware, committed, confident in its capabilities, and responsible, to be the beacon of change that lights up local communities and opens up opportunities supported by technology.
Following the signing of the agreement, Orange Jordan highlighted this important milestone that aligns with the company’s model of social responsibility, focusing on impact and outcomes, and long-term goals. This comes in the context of national celebrations marking the silver jubilee of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein’s accession to the throne.
The Crown Prince Foundation explained that this partnership aligns with the Foundation’s commitment to enhancing partnerships with the private sector, which have proven effective and positively impactful in providing quality opportunities for young people in various governorates.
It is worth noting that Orange Jordan is keen to work in partnership with national institutions and various organizations sharing the same vision, aiming to reach as many participants as possible in its programs. The company recently announced new partnerships to enhance the skills of more young people, empowering them to join the labor market.
