A delegation from the Modern Ahli Institute in Arar, Saudi Arabia, visited Zarqa University on Monday, 30 September 2024. The delegation met with Professor Alaa Al-Din Sadeq, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Zarqa University.
The meeting was attended by Professor Khaled Al-Zidyeen, Dean of Admissions and Registration, Dr. Al-Makhzoumi, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Professor Tariq Mubeideen, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences.
The visit aimed to discuss the possibility of integrating Ahli Institute students from Arar into Zarqa University and to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation between both sides. The discussions also covered ways to enhance student and academic exchange programs.
Professor Sadeq provided an overview of the programs and services offered by the university, highlighting that it is now one of the largest private universities in Jordan in terms of campus size, student numbers, faculty members, and staff. He also noted the university's excellence in scientific research, academic publications, and prestigious scientific conferences.
Sadeq also outlined the university's ongoing academic development efforts at the institutional and faculty levels, as well as advancements in research and community service centers, which have contributed to improving the educational process and serving the local community.
The delegation toured the university’s facilities, expressing admiration for the university’s achievements and its progress. They praised Zarqa University for providing outstanding services to students, including well-equipped, modern learning environments.
At the end of the visit, Vice President Sadeq presented a commemorative university shield to the Saudi delegation.
