Egypt’s Foreign Ministry has announced an emergency ministerial meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) following the extraordinary Arab summit scheduled for February 27 in Cairo.
In a statement, the ministry said the meeting aims to reaffirm the Palestinian, Arab, and Islamic stance and support Palestinian rights.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Aty has also held talks with his counterparts from Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Iran to discuss developments related to the Palestinian cause.
