Oil prices rose in early trading on Wednesday, after ending the previous session with a gain of over 4%, amid fears that the Israel–Iran conflict could disrupt supply.
Brent crude futures rose by 19 cents, or 0.25%, reaching $76.64 per barrel. U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures increased by 23 cents, or 0.31%, to $75.07 per barrel.
On Tuesday, U.S. President Donald Trump called on Iran to offer “unconditional surrender” as the aerial war between Iran and Israel entered its sixth day.
