Israeli occupation forces on Friday closed the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque – Al-Haram Al-Qudsi Al-Sharif – and barred worshippers from entering for the second consecutive week.
Jerusalem Governorate reported that all mosque gates were closed, with forces stationed outside them. The gates at Bab Hutta and Bab al-Silsila were also shut after allowing only a limited number of worshippers through, citing that the maximum capacity allowed inside had been reached.
