He insisted full victory is not only possible but necessary, echoing Prime Minister Netanyahu’s declared goals of defeating Hamas and freeing Israeli captives.
Smotrich also called for economic strangulation of Gaza, saying: “We can’t defeat Hamas with tanks alone. We must cut aid to Hamas, its people, its trucks—we must suffocate it economically.”
