The Ministry of Education in Kuwait announced that the decision to replace (localize) jobs with it has included more than 2,000 teachers and department heads in 14 specializations, pointing out that those covered by the plan belong to 24 nationalities from different countries of the world, according to the local newspaper, Al-Qabas.
The statistics showed that 82.09% of the teachers included in the replacement are Egyptians, as they ranked first in the number of those whose services were terminated by the end of the current academic year 2022-2023.
Teachers of Syrian nationality came in second place with a rate of 11.03% of the numbers covered by the decision to replace and Kuwaitize.
The third place went to Jordanians with a rate of 3.55%, then the Iranians at 0.73%, and the Iraqis at 0.68%.
In all, the list included employees whose services were terminated from 24 countries around the world, namely: Syria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, India, Nigeria, Iran, Yemen, Morocco, Lebanon, Eritrea, Senegal, Sudan, Oman, Tunisia, Afghanistan, Canada, Somalia, Italy, Kenya, Russia, the Philippines, Ghana and Pakistan.
