According to the paper, the notification was in line with Israel’s commitments to Washington and Doha.

Qatar condemned the Israeli strike on residential compounds housing members of Hamas’s political bureau, describing it as “cowardly.” The Foreign Ministry said the attack was a flagrant violation of international law and a serious threat to the safety of Qataris and residents.

It added that security services, civil defence and relevant authorities immediately began responding to contain the incident and ensure the safety of residents and surrounding areas.
