Eastern Military Zone forces foiled two attempts at dawn Thursday to smuggle large quantities of narcotics using balloons guided by primitive devices in separate locations along the border.
Border Guard forces, in coordination with security agencies and Anti-Narcotics Department, detected and brought down the balloons with their cargo inside Jordanian territory. The seized materials were referred to competent authorities.
