Six specialised parliamentary committees will hold a joint meeting on Monday, 13 October, to discuss the spread of stray dogs across the Kingdom.
The committees include those on Labour and Social Development, Health, Environment and Food, Agriculture and Water, Environment and Climate, Women and Family Affairs, and Rural and Badia Affairs.
The meeting aims to identify the causes of the phenomenon and propose practical solutions to ensure public safety and a secure environment in all regions.
MP Bayan Al-Mahsiri said follow-up efforts will continue until a comprehensive and lasting solution is reached, noting she had previously submitted a recommendation memorandum to the Environment and Climate Committee, which later forwarded its proposals to the government in April
