Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship says 80% of government services now fully digitised, meeting its target for end-2025. The ministry had initially planned to digitise 100% of services this year, but later revised priorities, setting 80% for 2025 and full digitisation in 2026.

The ministry tells Al Mamlaka that 1920 services out of 2400 targeted services are now digitised. Minister Sami Smirat says the 2024-2028 strategic plan aims to build a sustainable digital economy and a supportive environment for entrepreneurship, with priorities centred on digital transformation, innovative delivery of key public services, and development of a secure and reliable government digital ecosystem.
