We are a well-established media group with 25 years of experience in journalism. Our journey started with weekly newspapers, establishing Al Shahid Press as a leading media entity during the Fourth Jordanian Kingdom under the guidance of His Majesty King Abdullah II. Our mission aligns with his vision of fostering freedom of expression and media, captured in the motto “Freedom with no ceiling but the sky.”

Our newspapers have flourished by providing extensive coverage of political, economic, social, and sports news. This has been achieved through specialized publications, including Jordan Pulse, Al Shahid Weekly, Al Jazira Magazine, Al Mala3b (dedicated to sports), and Al Sayyad (focused on entertainment).

To adapt to the digital age and expand our media presence nationwide, we launched Rum News Agency in 2007, marking our entry into the online space as one of the first news websites in Jordan. This was soon followed by the Akhbar Al-Rai news site, Al Mala3b Sports, Al Meedan Sports, and the Al Shahid website, which serves as the online counterpart to our weekly publication. Additionally, Jordan Pulse, our English-language platform, acts as Jordan’s gateway to the global audience. We are committed to leveraging digital innovations to provide thorough and well-documented coverage of political, economic, and sports news, reaching readers far and wide.
