Jordanian Campaign, in partnership with Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation, carries out emergency shelter intervention, distributing more than 200 dome tents in first phase to people affected by severe weather conditions. Tents insulated and water-resistant, providing minimum protection and safety for affected families.
Response comes as continuation of winter campaign launched by Jordanian Campaign and Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation at start of winter season.
Abdulrahman Al-Awwad, general coordinator of Jordanian Campaign, says aim to send best possible assistance to people of Gaza, noting tent remains temporary solution, with plans to develop relief response through mobile homes or modern alternative shelters in near future.
He adds tents distributed in Gaza among best available, stressing commitment to providing highest quality support through effective partnership with Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation, guided by directives of King Abdullah II.
