Evacuation preparations
Transport Minister Miri Regev reveals Wednesday that Israeli civilian airlines prepare to evacuate aircraft fleets from Israeli airports to destinations abroad, to protect them from potential Iranian missile attacks in event of US strike on Iran.
US President Donald Trump threatens in recent weeks to launch military strike against Iran over its handling of widespread protests. Trump later signals partial retreat, saying Tehran halts planned executions of protesters. He then states Thursday that large US ‘military fleet’ heads towards Gulf region, adding: ‘We are watching Iran.’
