Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi discussed on Monday the serious regional escalation with Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Foreign Minister Elmedin Konaković and Norway’s Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide. The talks addressed efforts to reduce tensions, restore calm, and prioritize diplomacy as the path toward security and stability.
In two separate phone calls, Safadi reaffirmed Jordan’s condemnation of the Iranian attacks against the Kingdom and Gulf states, rejecting them as unjustified escalation and a clear violation of international law and state sovereignty.
He stressed that Jordan, together with Arab countries, will take all necessary and available steps to safeguard their citizens, security, stability, and sovereignty.
The foreign ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Norway expressed solidarity with Jordan and emphasized the importance of diplomacy in restoring regional stability.
