His Majesty Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein received a phone call Tuesday from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, during which both leaders affirmed their rejection of Iranian attacks on Jordan and countries in the region.
The King warned of the serious repercussions of these attacks on regional peace, stressing the necessity of respecting state sovereignty and the safety of their peoples.
The call also addressed the need to intensify efforts to de-escalate the ongoing tensions. His Majesty further underscored the importance of preventing the exploitation of the conflict to impose a new reality in the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip.
