Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi and Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijj?rt? held talks over the phone on Tuesday on regional escalation.

Safadi and Szijj?rt? discussed prospects for restoring calm in the region and called for preventing a spillover. They urged the activation of diplomatic efforts as a means to uphold security and stability.

Safadi condemned the Iranian attacks on the Kingdom and on Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, warning of the consequences of their continuation.

Szijj?rt?, in turn, said that Hungary stands in solidarity with Jordan in countering what he described as Iranian aggression.
