Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) has achieved several major academic milestones in the early months of 2026, solidifying its position as a leading institution in both Jordan and the wider region. Most notably, the university has been ranked first in Jordan and placed within the 401–500 category globally in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2026.
​In a specialized achievement, AAU topped all Jordanian universities in the Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2026, ranking 117th globally. University President Prof. Sari Hamdan attributed this success to a strategic focus on collaborative research and the development of scientific infrastructure that prioritizes integrated knowledge across various disciplines.
