The Amman Chamber of Commerce participated in the national festivities for Jordan Flag Day by distributing national flags to citizens and drivers in the Shmeisani area. The initiative was part of the "Our Flag is High" campaign organized by the Ministry of Culture in partnership with various state institutions.
​The Chairman of the Amman Chamber of Commerce, Senator Khalil Haj Tawfiq, emphasized that the Chamber’s participation stems from a deep belief in the symbolism of the Jordanian flag as a marker of sovereignty and national unity. He noted that the flag represents the pride and dignity that define the Jordanian identity.
​Haj Tawfiq stated that the flag is more than just a banner; it tells the story of the nation and the sacrifices of generations. He added that the commercial sector, like all parts of society, draws inspiration from the flag as a symbol of the stability and confidence that underpin the national economy.
​He further highlighted that celebrating Flag Day reflects national cohesion and unity under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II. The field participation aimed to strengthen national symbols in public spaces and reinforce the connection between citizens and their flag, symbolizing a continuous journey of achievement and construction.
