Jordanian academic and former minister Professor Faisal Odeh Al-Rfouh announced Wednesday the official release of the English-language edition of his new memoir, titled Scattered Papers in the Wind: Between Wounds, Pains, and Dreams.
The book is published by India-based Writers Choice Publications Pvt. Ltd. (New Delhi) and printed by Kingston Press.
The memoir features a special foreword penned by Professor Amitav Acharya, a Distinguished Professor of International Relations at American University in Washington, D.C., USA.
Described as both an intellectual and deeply personal human journey, the memoir chronicles Al-Rfouh’s life, beginning with his early roots in Jordan and expanding across continents, cultures, and public service. The narrative reflects on a lifelong journey shaped by profound challenges, academic pursuits, and enduring aspirations.
In a statement addressing colleagues and friends, Al-Rfouh expressed his gratitude to everyone who supported and accompanied him throughout his career, describing the work as a reflection on experiences that bridge local origins with broader global horizons.
