​The Nashama national team faces a difficult mission in the World Cup finals, one that resembles Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible films, where the protagonist goes off-script to make the impossible possible. We have had previous experiences in such tournaments, where the misguided people scattered across satellite channels—recklessly labeled as "analysts"—predicted we would be the first to depart from the Asian and Arab Cups. Yet, those with steel hearts and strong wills persisted until the final scene, displaying their genuine worth and their ability to turn miracles into achievements, making a dream a reality that still stands before the world. Despite this, the misguided continue to insist that the Nashama will be the first to depart in this World Cup.
​In truth and for the sake of history, we realize that the Nashama stars will not win the World Cup title, nor will they reach the semi-finals, but we are completely confident that they will not let us down. They will be the Nashama we know, fighting for every ball, disciplined in executing their tasks, with morale that embraces the sky. We trust their intellect and their maturity, which refuses to surrender or raise the white flag. They are Nashama who know that overcoming difficulties is their duty, even if the opponent includes teams like Argentina—the defending champions—Algeria—the knights of Africa—and Austria—the rising power in the European football sky. The Nashama are no less than anyone else; while we respect the history of these teams, they respect the achievements of Jordanian football and realize that the time for its global launch has arrived.
​We say to the Nashama: We are not dreaming of the impossible, but we want to prove to the world who we are. To succeed in that, you must simply be who you are. We will stand behind you and with you, regardless of the result, because we know your truth, your patriotism, and your toughness. These are the traits of over ten million Nashama in our homeland, and the people look forward to watching the world witness our essence through you. So, do not summon to your minds the journeys of Pelé, Maradona, Messi, or even the two Ronaldos (the Portuguese and the Brazilian). Set aside football and its stars for a moment and remember that you represent a nation as old as history, evidenced by Petra, Jerash, Islamic palaces, and the castles of Ajloun, Shobak, and Karak. You keep pace with a civilized, cultural, and civil renaissance that has made Jordan a destination for the peoples of the world—a country that rises with the lowest financial costs, but whose determination and the minds of its sons have made it a Kingdom of resilience and power.
​O Nashama: We will not ask much of you, as we realize the mission is difficult. Therefore, enjoy world-class football, for you are greats among the great and stars illuminating the path of the stars. We know that football rewards the diligent and recognizes effort, not names. Be generous with your efforts as we have always known you to be, and then you will achieve results that enhance the status of Jordanian football, and you will rise higher and higher. The eyes of the fans who love achievement look to you, and they will be with you in the stands and through the screens as partners in the dream and the journey. We do not want you to top the group; we want you to practice football and play the matches as Jordanian Nashama. We will raise our hats to you then, regardless of the results. The important thing is that you are who we have always known you to be; that makes us happy, satisfies us, and is enough for us.
