Without bias or fanaticism, it must be said: anyone who does not care about Al-Faisaly does not care about Jordanian football as a whole. Al-Faisaly remains the most deeply rooted in history, the most accomplished in terms of trophies, and historically the primary supplier of talent to our national team, the "Al-Nashama." It was, is, and will always remain an impregnable fortress whose footballing reputation cannot be tarnished.
A Professional Beginning: The Impact of the New Committee
The first of rain has fallen. Following the appointment of the club's new committee, highly professional work has commenced through key internal appointments. In my view, the most crucial of these is the designation of the Technical Advisor. Through this pivotal role, top management will first appoint the Head Coach. Subsequently, and through close consultation, they will scout new signings, terminate unneeded contracts, and renew deals for players who had a genuinely positive impact on the squad.
All of these calculated steps serve as a clear indicator that Al-Faisaly is preparing a powerful comeback for a heated football season, successfully learning from past lessons—most notably the numerous administrative and technical challenges witnessed during the previous soccer season.
A Call for Competitive Balance and Financial Backing
This professional restructuring raises important questions for the broader domestic landscape:
Will other clubs follow suit? Can we expect similar tactical and administrative movements from other local clubs, mirroring the strategic steps taken by Al-Faisaly and, before them, the reigning titleholders Al-Hussein Irbid? Such moves are essential to elevate the competitive intensity of the upcoming Pro League.
Where is the financial support? Will we finally see private corporations, business leaders, and personal donations step up to support our financially strained clubs? It is only fair that we provide these institutions with financial stability before demanding top-tier results and championship trophies.
Ultimately, I pray for the day when we see all ten Pro League teams competing fiercely until the very final week of the season, where the champion remains completely unknown until the final second of the last match.
