The Executive Director of the Jerash Festival for Culture and Arts, Yazan Al-Khdeir, met with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom, Guo Wei.
​According to a statement issued by the festival's management, the meeting highlighted the significance of China's first-time participation in the festival's "Embassies Pavilion" through a specialized delegation representing cultural products, handicrafts, and traditional industries. Additionally, the "China Silk Road Ensemble" is scheduled to perform on July 29 and 30 on the Hippodrome stage within the ancient city of Jerash.
​Al-Khdeir emphasized the importance of the Jerash Festival as a prominent global platform for fostering cultural exchange between Jordan and countries worldwide.
​For his part, the Chinese Ambassador pointed out that China's participation in the 40th edition of the festival embodies the deep historical relations linking the two friendly nations. He also commended Jordan's enduring security and stability, alongside the distinguished cultural and artistic status that the festival holds regionally and internationally.
