Jordan Kuwait Bank (JKB) has officially renewed its annual sponsorship for one of the family houses within the SOS Children's Villages Association in the Irbid Governorate for the year 2026. This initiative highlights the bank's corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy aimed at supporting vulnerable youth and providing a stable, safe environment that fosters positive social integration.
Sponsorship Scope and Impact
The renewed sponsorship directly covers a significant portion of the comprehensive care costs for the children and their alternative mother within the home. The funding supports several essential pillars:
Basic Essentials: Securing daily living requirements and sustainable home maintenance.
Developmental Support: Providing continuous access to quality education, healthcare services, and psychological and social support.
Community Footprint: Maintaining operations within one of the 10 family houses in the Irbid village, which serves children who have lost or are at risk of losing parental care.
Leadership Statements
The CEO of Jordan Kuwait Bank Group, Haethum Al-Bateikhi, stated that renewing this support reflects JKB's belief in the importance of investing in human capital and helping those most in need. He added that the bank views its CSR initiatives as a long-term commitment to creating tangible positive changes in the lives of local families.
The National Director of SOS Children's Villages Jordan, Rana Al-Zoubi, expressed her gratitude for JKB’s ongoing support. She emphasized that this partnership goes beyond fulfilling material needs, as it provides the children with a profound sense of security and belonging, enabling them to build independent futures with confidence.
