Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosted an honoring ceremony for outstanding Saudi students studying at Jordanian universities for the second semester of the 2025/2026 academic year, held under the patronage of HRH Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan Al Saud, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The event was attended by Al-Ahliyya Amman University Acting President Prof. Dr. Ahmad Hamdan, Acting Head of the Saudi Cultural Attaché in Jordan Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Khuzaim Al-Shammari, along with several university presidents, college deans, faculty members, and a gathering of top-performing Saudi students from various Jordanian universities.
The ceremony honored 28 students from Al-Ahliyya Amman University, both bachelor's and master's students across various fields of study, in recognition of their academic excellence and outstanding achievement.
The event opened with remarks from Prof. Dr. Mohammed bin Khuzaim Al-Shammari, who highlighted the Saudi leadership's commitment to supporting scholarship students and the Cultural Attaché's dedication to backing their academic journeys, praising the academic excellence Saudi students continue to achieve at Jordanian universities and the strength of the educational and academic ties between Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
For his part, Al-Ahliyya Amman University Acting President Prof. Dr. Ahmad Hamdan welcomed attendees, expressing the university's pride in hosting the ceremony, which he said reflects the deep brotherly relationship between the two countries and underscores the importance of supporting and encouraging top students to continue pursuing excellence and innovation.
He noted the university's commitment to providing a learning environment that fosters creativity, and its pride in its Saudi students and the outstanding academic achievements they continue to attain, affirming the university's continued support for their academic journey and progress.
