Jordanian businessman Emad Al-Dmaisi announced his complete withdrawal from supporting Al-Wehdat SC, stating that he will return to being a regular fan among the club's supporter base. The decision came as a direct response to social media statements posted by the former president of the club, Bashar Al-Hawamdeh.
​Al-Dmaisi expressed surprise over Al-Hawamdeh’s posts, describing them as targeted attacks and incitement against him. He clarified that his involvement with the sports club was driven purely by a desire to support Al-Wehdat without seeking personal gain, adding that the club's fanbase fully recognizes his contributions over time.
​Addressing criticism regarding his public support and solidarity with the people of Gaza, Al-Dmaisi firmly rejected claims of posturing or clout-chasing, emphasizing that his positions stem from personal and national convictions. Concluding his message, Al-Dmaisi affirmed that he fulfilled all promises made to the club and its fans before officially stepping back from all support activities.
